If Eagles fans have anything to do with it, it’s the day that New Jersey governor Chris Christie may start his long road to losing the 2016 presidential election by sitting in Jerry Jones’s suite during Sunday night’s Cowboys/Eagles tilt.
Christie, who has repeatedly stated his love for the Dallas Cowboys, saddled up next to Jones as the Cowboys visited the Eagles in a battle for first place in the NFC East.
With each passing Cowboys score, Christie celebrated a little more and made Eagles fans angrier and angrier.
Granted, it’s all about that electoral college vote and not about pleasing Eagles fans. Yet, if his sports team choice was this polarizing and you’re going to show it off in such a public manner…why not wait?
Anyhow, don’t expect Christie to appear in South Philly anytime soon.
